Nail technician

We are seeking a passionate, skilled, and client-focused Licensed Nail Technician to join our studio team. The right candidate will be comfortable delivering consistent, high-quality results across a full menu of nail services — and will represent the team with professionalism and warmth in every interaction. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES • Deliver exceptional nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel, dip powder, acrylics, nail art, and extensions • Provide a warm, luxury-level client experience from consultation through checkout • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and fully stocked workstation in compliance with CT state board standards • Communicate professionally with clients to understand preferences, manage expectations, and build loyalty • Use and recommend premium product lines • Uphold and actively contribute to the brand aesthetic and culture • Manage booking and client intake through Square POS and scheduling system • Meet productivity goals and maintain a strong client rebooking rate REQUIREMENTS • Valid Connecticut Nail Technician or Cosmetology License (required) • Proficiency in gel, acrylic, dip powder, and nail art techniques • Strong portfolio demonstrating clean, consistent, and creative work • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct • Ability to sit for extended periods and work flexible hours including weekends • Comfortable using digital booking and POS systems PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Experience with luxury or high-end salon environments • Established social media presence or willingness to create content • Passion for nail artistry, continuing education, and staying current with trends
